Amazing family house

We were looking for a house close to the beach for my family and want to keep using as we continue to grow. The Ethridge house is our new home away from home. We have 2 grown sons and it was a great place for us all to relax. The pool was a great asset to our relaxation. Close proximity to the beach was also amazing. We will definitely be back in the future.

Excellent location and pool!

We were 6 adults and had plenty of space to be alone or together. The beach access was just 3 houses away! We have visited this area several times in the past and Ethridge House was by far the best location yet! The pool was large and nice! The house was clean and appeared to be recently painted/updated. Master bed & bath was large and comfortable. You will need to bring a hair dryer. Other beds were nice also. Kitchen was well stocked with all of your needs for a large group. Coffee pot and Keurig were available. Downstairs had a living room, wet bar area with a mini fridge, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath and outdoor access. Upstairs had kitchen, master bed/bath, living, dining, and 1/2 bath with a beautiful balcony with an ocean view! We could sit out and watch the dolphins with our morning coffee! Manager was quick to address that the ice maker wasn’t working and sent out a technician who gave us a countertop ice machine that worked great! Also, the starter on the grill didn’t work, and we made them aware of it. They said they would have to get a new one. We didn’t use it, but could have just used a lighter to start it ourselves. The outside shower wasn’t working, but again, we didn’t use it, so no big deal. We made the management company aware and they were looking into it. We just rinsed at the shower at the beach access before coming back to the house. They had lawn service 1 day from 7am-1pm. It was inconvenient and would have been nice to have a heads up. Highway 30A backs right up to the backyard so it can be noisy when you are in the pool, but we were prepared for this. There is a 4ft. Hedge that surrounds the yard for privacy. Check in and check out was simple and easy! We will definitely consider Ethridge House again for future visits! Being that close to the beach was AMAZING! (Just a note, if you have issues with stairs, the beach access has 3 flights of 15 steps to get to the beach.)

We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. Driving all the way from Columbia, SC and not being able to get into the house until 4pm was very inconvenient. We arrived in town at 2:30pm, the house was cleaned and empty, and Benchmark would not let us get inside until 4:00pm on the dot. It’s just disappointing that they couldn’t work with us since the house was cleaned and ready to go.

Comfortable Home in a Great Location

We loved our time in Ethridge House for Spring Break 2023. We had plenty of room for the four of us and the home was clean, comfortable and conveniently located near the beach, dining, etc. The walk to the beach takes about a minute so perfect for people traveling with kids. My kids are more pool swimmers than beach swimmers so it was perfect to have the private pool for them to swim every day. Definitely have the pool heated if planning to travel in the early Spring like we did. We will definitely be back!

Spring weekend visit

We came to 30A in April 2022 for a weekend wedding. The house was in a great location, tucked just off of 30A on a quiet street. We had great ocean views from the kitchen and den and the pool was an added bonus. Great communication with Benchmark before and during our short visit. Would definitely return!

Our stay at Ethridge House

Wonderful stay at Ethridge House Oct 9-16,2021. The house has been totally updated from pics shown on website. New paint, light fixtures, furniture, upgraded master bath, new carpet in bedrooms, kitchen back splash, new wall pictures. The pool was wonderful for our grandchildren. The new Gas Weber grill at pool was a hit. The kitchen was well equipped. The ocean view from the top porch was spectacular. The walk to public access steps to beach was 2 houses over on frontal road. The beach was not crowded in this area and was family friendly. We will use this house again.

We had a fabulous time at Ethridge house. It's in a great location and we enjoyed the beach and the pool.Plenty of dishes and cooking items in the kitchen. Screens were torn in the front and back doors but that's okay, we just kept the doors closed.

We had a magnificent stay. The home was beautiful, clean and accommodating for my parents and my family. Waking up to having coffee overlooking the ocean, to late night swims on the heated pool, and all the wonderful adventures on the beach are memories that will last a lifetime. Perfect for our family!

We recently returned from our second trip to Seaside/Santa Rosa, staying each time @ Ethridge II. LOVE the house, - ample space (sleeping & entertaining) for the kids and adults, just a couple of doors from the beach entrance, and walking distance to downtown Seaside. Well stocked (dishes, gadgets, appliances, etc) kitchen with ample seating for all. We arrived and departed after Garrett's office hours and easily picked up/dropped off key. Pool is on the 30A side of the house so it's not as quiet as laying out at the beach but traffic noise was not by any means bothersome (especially not over the sounds of the excited kids in the pool) and bushes provide good visual barrier. Would love to stay @ Ethridge II again.
