Did we have a good overall stay? Yes. Was the vacation rental in a great location? Yes, the best. Was the home clean and in good shape? Yes it was. Was the vacation rental management staff helpful? Our one problem was that we did not have the access code to the beach. The access gate requires that you enter an access code. When we arrived at about 5 pm, we wanted to go to the beach and watch the sunset. We looked everywhere around our unit to find that information. It was not available. I called the management and did not hear back from them until it was too late to watch the sun set from the beach. I got the access code to the beach gate from a neighbor - but after sunset. I hated to bother them, but I knocked on their door and they were glad to share that information with my wife and me. I would suggest management have that beach access code information available on the kitchen counter, or near the front door - anywhere that it could be seen when folks first arrive. It was nowhere to be found when we arrived.

Great management, short on grab bars

The property was well kept and the management personnel were all clearly willing to help in any way they could. The unit, 901, was well equipped and worth the money. It needs grab bars. The master bath bar was oriented for someone seated on the shelf seat rather than standing to shower, and the bar was missing from the its holes in bath 2. I have PD and never felt safe in either bath. For anyone who is fully able, it's an excellent unit.

Great stay at this condo

We had a great week at this property. It was close to walk to Seaside and also bike around. Unit was clean, only thing missing was a frying pan and the folks in the office took care of us and got us one.

When I booked this condo, I was a little concerned with a few of the reviews. Mainly regarding the bathrooms needing updating, as well as the furniture on the balcony. The bathrooms (primarily the Master) are a little smaller than newer condos, but they were clean and the showers were large enough for us. I certainly didn’t feel like I was cramped at all. It appears the furniture on the balcony was recently updated because there is now a wicker style table with four chairs that are in excellent condition. The condo was perfect for us. Everything was clean. Given that the condos are likely older, I didn’t feel like ours was “old” by any means. All nice furniture. Large living and dining area. Beautiful views of the gulf. The beaches are not crowded at all. We didn’t deal with any traffic (maybe that is just the time we visited). There are plenty of places within walking distance to eat or get ice cream. Everything was great. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay in 901 (or Beachcrest) again.

This is our third time coming to this same condo. We love it. Location is perfect, rooms are alwasy nice and clean. Never too loud and very family oriented. My 2 yeard old daughter always makes so many friends on the beach. Proximety to the beach is so nice as well.

The management/rental agency was very good—we felt well prepared and informed before we arrived. Once there, our questions were answered pretty quickly. All appliances worked; plenty of room; great view, good location. I regretted leaving our pillows at home because the ones in the condo were sub par, but how many people sleep on them per year? So that’s really my problem, not theirs. I may choose a different unit next time, but I would definitely stay at Beachcrest again.

Enjoyable stay at Beachcrest

We spent five pleasant days at Beachcrest in late December. Unit 901 was comfortable,clean, and quiet, and it has a great view. The beach is close by and great for walking.

This property was conveniently located to all the fun and activity found on 30A without being in the middle of all the crazy. We were able to walk or ride bikes to most anything we wanted to do but yet enjoyed the calm, quieter area of our stay. The condo was clean, comfortable and provided all the necessities we need.

Garrett Realty was awesome to work with, very easy! 901 was a well maintained and clean property. I only gave 4 stars because it the patio furniture and bike racks. When you spend the extra money to be right on the beach it would be worthwhile to have some decent furniture on the patio. The lounger was so gross nobody sat on it all week. Also struggled with the bike racks, the condo either needs additional bike racks or they need to place the ones they have differently. Overall though a great place to stay, we had a great week.

Had a great week on 30A. The condo was clean and comfortable. Our first stay in a high rise unit, but it worked out well. The GRS app makes everything a breeze. Keep up the great work. See you next summer!
