Great location. Clean property and plenty of space. Within walking or riding distance of everything. The stairs to the loft are steep and should be considered if you have young ones (or older ones) staying up there.

Cute but bare and no curtains

It's a cute cottage type feel with a good location. It's very evident it's an investment company that owns it because it has nothing in terms of pantry essentials (no cooking spray, oil, salt & pepper etc) it also has no beach towels nor beach gear. We have never stayed at a property with none of these items. None of that is essential, however, the biggest issue is the lack of curtains. There are no curtains in any of the bedrooms, and all the kids woke by 6AM because it's bright by then. Also- if the neighbors leave their outdoor light on it shines into bedroom all night.
Also- the house was ready by noon when we arrived however, they wanted an early check-in fee if we wanted early access which felt a bit like a cheap money-grab.

Please note that we do have an inventory/starter kit which includes; glasses, dishes, and utensils, as well as basic cookware. The kitchen starter kit also includes: hand soap, sponge, dish soap, two dishwasher tabs, a roll of paper towels, and a kitchen trash bag, However we have taken your comments regarding the supply of cooking spray, oil, salt and pepper into account. Please note that the information regarding the starter kit was sent prior to your arrival and are meant to cover your needs before you get to the store to do your shopping.
Please note that we do not provide beach towels, all linens provided by us must stay in the unit as such any towels needed for the beach would have had to be brought by you. This information is sent to you prior to your arrival. As it relates to beach gear; there are some properties we manage which have complimentary beach service; this is clearly outlined on our website; where as other properties do not. For the properties which do not offer complimentary beach service, we provide guests prior to their arrival with contact information for a third party company, many of our guests take advantage of this and have gear delivered to the unit for their stay. As it relates to the issue of the curtains, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please note however that the owner has ordered curtains for the unit so this will no longer be an issue. Please also note that the early check-in is optional. We do our best to provide all guests with a 5-star experience and we falter from time to time, so we appreciate your honest feedback. We have taken your comments into account and will do our best to provide better beach vacations for all moving forward.

Enjoyed our Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Beach Digs. It was in a good location for easy golf cart rides to the beach and Seaside. The living area was updated, comfortable and spacious. When arriving we were a little concerned as there was construction on 3 new houses right next to and behind the house (right outside bedroom windows). During our stay they only had an early start one morning but I think it should have been disclosed in the listing that construction was going on next door. Bathrooms are small but functional, not much counter space but wasn't an issue for us. The only problem I would say was with one of the king beds. It was VERY squeaky. As in roll over in bed and wake yourself up squeaky. Otherwise a very good stay. We would potentially rent here again.

Easy access to beach
Lower level bedrooms nice and roomy
Upper level steps very steep. Beds small. Ideal for children. Upstairs shower could use caulk work.

Great location

Beach Digs is the perfect spot - close to the beach and Seaside square. The house is updated nicely. The only negative I have was that there were on 5 bath towels and we had to launder them everyday and the bed linens were not super nice. Other than that, our stay was prefect. Will stay here again.

Good location and everything we needed

The walks to town center and the beach are super easy from Beach Digs. The house itself has everything we needed to have 5 days of vacation fun with 3 adults, a 3.5 year old, and a 1.5 year old. The stairs are super steep. It as long as you watch the little ones, they’re not a problem.

Cute, Cozy and Convenient!

This is our second year staying at Beach Digs! It's like our little home away from home. It's perfect for our family of 4 (always have friends come with the girls). We have plenty of room for us all. The open floor plan is perfect and the loft my teens love! We enjoy being able to get to the beach and downtown by a short walk or bike ride. I highly recommend!

Canopy of beautiful old trees creates magical relaxing views

Beach Digs is secluded in Old Seagrove and yet close to everything all at the same time. 600 sq ft screened porch with 3 ceiling fans and hanging lights running to the magnificent tree canopy will make you never want to leave! Adorable farm house with character of being built 30 years ago. 1st class renovation recently done with super comfortable beds, high end TVs and building materials. Just a few blocks to Seaside and to the most beautiful beach in the world! The best restaurants on the gulf are here! Surfing Deer, Great Southern Café, RedBar and the great gulf views from Bud and Ally’s or Fish Out of Water are minutes away! 5 minutes to Watercolor Publix and shops of Watercolor and Seaside! 15 minutes to Donut Hole and Amici’s near Rosemary Beach. It’s like talking to family when we make our reservations several times per year with GRS/Benchmark Reality. Our dozens of stays with them are always perfect! Thank you Benchmark for making our 13th anniversary really special.

Adorable Beach Cottage

House is adorable and was sparkling clean. Set on a large, quiet lot surrounded by trees and yet a a quick walk or bike ride to Seaside or the beach. Management company was very responsive. We brought coffee because the listing stated that there was a coffee maker in the house and when we realized there wasn't one they brought a brand new one over almost immediately. Only complaint is that the upstairs bedroom has no windows coverings. Sun rose at 5:45AM and flooded the room with light especially in the face of the person sleeping in the bed under one of them. We had teenage girls staying in that room and they weren't too pleased about that ;-) Also, I don't think you can really see in, but they were concerned about modesty when changing, especially since one of the windows is right outside the bathroom. We did contact the management company about this issue as well, but understand not much can be done on short notice, so maybe for future guests. Might also suggest adding a couple table lamps in downstairs bedrooms and living area as sometimes is nice to not have to use the overhead lights. Overall, a great stay!

Perfect getaway

Loved staying at Beach Digs. It was a convenient location. You do need bikes. Super comfy and clean. Loved the wrap around screened porch for coffee in the morning and games at night. It was tucked away from noise and traffic. Just a beautiful vacation all around!

Wonderful House!

This was a great location...near Seaside, but not too near. It was a quiet neighborhood and easy walking distance to the beach. The house was wonderful...everything was so clean and bright with lots of natural lighting. It felt brand new and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great bonus having two master bedrooms, each with it's own bath. It was a very enjoyable stay!

This is a great house and very close to the beach!! We highly recommend it! All new appliances and a very large wrap around porch. It’s located very close to Seaside but away from the crowds in a beautiful neighborhood. World definitely rent again!

Great beach house!

We loved this cute house for our seaside vacation! It was perfect for our family of five. Everything in the house is new and high quality. The furnishings and details are perfect. The location is great! Close enough to seaside but away from the traffic and tourists. A nice 5 minute walk to the beach that was never super crowded. We had a great time on fall break and my kids are already asking to go back!
