Our Happy Place

Love this place so much! Close proximity to so many beaches and restaurants. The condo was beautiful and spacious. Big plus for having 4 bikes in the garage. On day one, my husband asked when we were booking for next year! We will definitely be back.

Family Time at Prominence Happy Place

The five of us had a comfortable, relaxing fun get away at Our happy place, with everything needed for spending time together; a open plan with great kitchen, living and dining room for cooking, family eating, board games and TV watching. Enjoyed bikes to ride to Big Chill and exploring 30A.

Beautiful Place

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious, impeccably clean and all the modern conveniences you would need. We were very comfortable and happy staying at "our happy place". Please note that the property does not have direct access to the beach. To access the beach is a mile away. But, the property came with bikes, so getting the beach was a 5 minute ride away.

Awesome location. So much to do with all the common areas, pool, and the Hub right across the street! We spent most nights over there enjoying the live music, movies, and events. Prominence is a short golf cart ride to Alys Beach or Seaside, so you get the best of 30a.

Our Happy Place review

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful & even more amazing in person. We brought my parents, siblings & our kids for a vacation. We had not been on a vacation with our parents for 30+ years. The beds were so comfortable & there was plenty of room in the house. Grocery, food & plenty to do near by. We were so thankful the house had beach chairs & other items to take to the beach, plus 4 bikes in the garage. I did call & ask if the house had bikes & chairs & was told No, would have loved to had not brought those items from home along for the trip. Other than that it was all so great & a vacation we will not forget!

30A “OurHappyPlace Review in Prominence

The townhome was very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable as well. Everything you needed in the unit was provided. Appliances were top of the line. We had two minor issues that were fixed quickly. A slow drain in second bathroom upstairs was fixed the morning after we sent a work request. The water got shut off on our second morning by mistake, but it was turned on within a few hours. The unit next to ours was supposed to be turned off and they did our unit in error. The only two items with Prominence that people should be aware of are: no heated pool or hot tub, tiny gym to use. If you wanted to swim, it was far too cold in the pool. The temperature was in the 70’s but the pool was very cold. They really need to heat the pool or add a hot tub. Also, for a community that big, the gym had 1 treadmill, 1 recumbent bike, 1 eliptical, and 1 weight machine. It was a tiny gym that only 4 people could use at a time. So, the community must pat association fees, but they get no heated pool and a miniature gym faculty. I would think that should be addressed in the future. Most 30A communities have at least 1 heated pool and a good size gym. So, the townhome was excellent, the hub across the street was excellent, and the pool and gym were a bit disappointing.

The fitness room is small for those who wish to exercise indoors. The area does have plently of space to exercise outdoors too with nearby state parks and 26 miles of walking/biking trails along 30A. House was beautiful and spacious. Very relaxing and quiet place to stay. The beds slept great and the kitchen had all the things we needed for the week. Several amenities in the garage (wagon, beach toys, bikes.)

Krissy, thank you for your review! The gorgeous Our Happy Place is located in Prominence. Our Happy Place is right across the street from the Hub. The Hub has a family friendly atmosphere. It has restaurants, movies, music, etc. It is the perfect spot to spend time with your family! The property does include many additional amenities: 4 cruiser bikes (no need to rent bikes!), Beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys. This is always nice to have at your convenience so that you just have it on hand! The neighborhood has a 5,000 sq. ft. pool that includes plenty of cabanas and lounge chairs for your leisure, along with a fitness center, and outdoor grill and dining area located in the pool area. This was the first time we rented this unit. We have stayed in this complex several times. This unit really went above the norm in having day to day necessities. Very clean. Great response when we had questions about garage codes etc. The only wish item would have been what items were included for outside play/use. Bikes, boogie boards, floats etc.
