A Walk Down Hotz Avenue in Grayton Beach

Hotz Avenue

Grayton Beach is well-known for its state park, beautiful beaches, and excellent restaurants and shopping. It is ever-evolving and we love seeing the great new things happening and shops opening adding to our beloved town’s character.

Hotz Avenue is one of the most popular roads on the Emerald Coast, as it is home to the Red Bar. We have personally seen Red Bar bumper stickers adorning cars all over the country and if there is just one restaurant people remember from their trip, it’s usually Red Bar. Open since 1995, this popular restaurant and bar always draws a crowd with their amazing staple dishes and fun atmosphere. A Jazz Band plays almost nightly with local group Dread Clampitt playing on Sundays. If you are in town for a special occasion or would like a perfect spot for a date night, Red Bar will not disappoint.

The newest arrival to Hotz Avenue is Tribe Kelley Surf Post. Only open a few months but the clothing and accessories store has made quite an impact on the neighborhood. Tribe Kelley was started by Florida Georgia Line singer Brian Kelley and his wife, Brittney. They also have an outlet store in Nashville, TN but call Grayton Beach their home base as they were drawn to the water. Their Surf Post store offers a variety of products hand-picked by the couple including clothing, leather goods, beach items, and skin care products.

Zoo Gallery is a longtime favorite shop with tons of eclectic gifts of jewelry, home goods, clothing, and much more. If you are looking for one-of-a-kind items for someone special, Zoo Gallery will most likely provide the perfect gift. Gypsea Boutique is a fun place to spoil yourself with art and jewelry or load up on Grayton Beach gear. They offer a mix of resort and bohemian clothing as well as jewelry handmade by local artists. The Spanish-inspired Chiringo restaurant is located on the corner of Hotz Avenue with excellent reviews. Chiringo’s partners mixed the cuisine they fell in love with in Spain with a touch of Caribbean flair and coastal Floridian flavor to come up with their own unique menu. Their most popular dish is the grouper bowl that comes with Bomba rice from Spain.

The best part of all these amazing establishments is they are within walking distance to the beach! Browse our 30A vacation rentals and book one nearby so you can take advantage of one of the best spots on the Emerald Coast!
