RUN Away to 30A

A trip to the beaches of 30a during fall is a runner’s dream. Not only do we have beautiful white sand beaches and emerald green waters, we have some of the best scenery with the best running weather. With a calendar full of 5k’s, 10k’s and fun runs, why not book a trip to the Emerald Coast this fall! 

30A Half Marathon & 5K BBQ Festival: This annual festival takes place October 12th through the 14th. The Race weekend kicks off with a party on Friday night from 6:00-9:00pm featuring live entertainment, BBQ, beer and fun! On Saturday, from 10:00am-6:00pm the Race Expo takes place which includes packet pickup, silent auctions and a full day of activities at The Green at Gulf Place. Sunday is Race Day! At 7am the race will begin and end at Gulf Place. Race through the coastal beauty of Scenic 30A.

3rd Annual Sandestin Foundation for Kids Gameday 5K: Dress up to represent your favorite team and soak in the views of the resort during this 5K and 1-mile fun run. Your route includes a beautiful backdrop including the Choctawhatchee Bay, Golf Courses and nature. A post-race tailgate party will take place at the Baytowne Marina with corn hole, bounce house, face painting, silent auction items and college football games!

30A Thanksgiving Day 10K: On Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd in Rosemary Beach, participate in a 10K, 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run. Including two days of family fun with packet pickup at The Hub on Wednesday, November 21st, featuring an outdoor market place with shops, restaurants and entertainment for the whole family. The out and back course in Rosemary Beach winds along Scenic Highway 30A offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, Camp Creek Coastal Dune Lake and pristine beach communities.

The Seaside School Half Marathon and 5K Race: Presented by Vera Bradley, this annual race will take place on Sunday March 3rd in Seaside, Florida. The race weekend kicks off on Friday night with Taste of the Race with Chef Emeril Lagasse enjoying delicious food and live music at the Seaside Lyceum. Spend an exciting Saturday afternoon at the Race Expo browsing a wide variety of equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories. Sunday is race day with a post-race party taking place throughout the town of Seaside.
