Things to do this Christmas on the Coast

The end of the year comes quickly and is packed full with holiday festivities, family gatherings, shopping, and a lot of fun. In the 30A area, we don’t hold back with things to add to your itinerary. Whether you’re here for a week or just a weekend, there are some things you’ll definitely want to mark on your calendar.

Cuvee 30A is open on Christmas Eve from 4pm-8:30pm for a special Tim Creehan dinner and on Christmas Day from 11am-3pm. These meals are by reservation only to enjoy the award-winning menu and chef specials for the holidays.

Café Thirty-A is hosting a Charity Christmas Soiree on December 1st in Seagrove Beach with all proceeds benefitting Caring and Sharing of South Walton. The event will be held from 7pm-11pm with a buffet, music by DJ 30A, and a photo booth. 

Every year on the Destin Harbor, there is a holiday boat parade. There is fun to be had all day December 10th in HarborWalk Village with a visit from Santa, live music, and children’s art and crafts. The boat parade begins at 6pm followed by a fireworks show and firespinning.

If you’re looking for adventure, take a bike ride or explore some 30A hiking trails. Or join in on the Red Bar Ride and Dine on Wednesday mornings for a new experience. Meet at Western Lake boat ramp near Red Bar and ride a Hydrobike in the Gulf of Mexico or around Western Lake. After hours of fun, enjoy lunch at the famous Red Bar restaurant.

Besides these great activities, there are tons of options for fine dining, excellent shopping, and of course, the beach!
