A Labor Day Weekend Celebration in South Walton

Beach Floats

Summer is sadly winding down. Spend the last days of summer on the beaches of South Walton where you’ll have fun in the sun and a last chance to experience summertime events. Here is a full line-up of activities over the last weekend in summer, Labor Day weekend!

After a full day of playing in the sand and sun, relax with a free outdoor concert. On Saturday, September 5th at 7pm, head over to the whimsical town of Seaside, Florida for a picnic dinner and live music at the Amphitheater. Sit back and relax as you take in the sounds under the stars.

Baytowne Wharf of Sandestin says farewell to summer with their annual Art Walk. Friday through Sunday, September 4th through 6th from 5-10pm you can stroll through the streets of Baytowne enjoying live music and local art. Exceptional artists featured in the area’s popular galleries will showcase their creative works over the three day festival. A live painting competition for adults and children brings fun for the whole family.

Alys Beach invites all athletes to participate in a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Sunday, September 6th.  You’ll be running along the beautiful beaches of scenic Highway 30A, winding through the pristine resort town of Alys Beach. There will be an oversized obstacle course at the finish line where music and refreshments await all! Recover on a beach towel under the sun in the powder white sand of Alys Beach. Then celebrate Labor Day with live music and a fireworks show at the Alys Beach Amphitheater from 6-9pm.

Return to Seaside on Monday, September 7th at 6pm for Labor Day Classical Pops Music Performance! It’s a splendid end to another summer season in South Walton. 30A rentals will provide your stay in the middle of all the fun and on the beautiful beaches of 30A!
