Spring Begins on 30A with a Crawfish Boil and Wine Festival

30A Wine Festival is an Annual Highlight of South Walton

Stinky’s Fish Camp will be hosting a crawfish boil on March 1st at 3pm. With a tent set up for the crawfish fest, guests will enjoy the southern meal along with live music. Stinky’s restaurant also has Sunday brunch each week at 11am with live entertainment. Marie’s Bistro in Blue Mountain Beach offers a brunch buffet with mimosas each Sunday with live music from Matt Hall.  

On March 6th, the Grayton Artist Collective will host an Artwalk at 5pm. Galleries and shops will extend their hours to show new work including art from Mary Hong, Justin Lyons, Allison Craft, and many more artists. This event will be in Grayton Beach each month on the first Thursday. Accommodations can be made at local Seagrove beach rentals in the area.  

The 30A Wine Festival will take place in Alys Beach on March 7th-9th. This annual event showcases premier wine producers and culinary favorites in the area. On Friday evening, “Bourbon, Beer, and Butts” will kick off the festival weekend in Alys Beach at Fonville Press. Along with fine bourbon, craft beer and barbecue, Grammy winner Sam Bush will be performing. Proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Volunteer Health Network. Saturday events will include wine tasting, a walkabout, and a band party. “Pork and Pinot” is Sunday’s exclusive event with a croquet tournament.  

In WaterColor, the 9th Annual Art in the Park will be held March 15th from 9am-5pm. A variety of unique art and crafts will be displayed throughout the park and town center. From original paintings and photography to pottery and glass art, there will be presentation of many different work. This is a free event and open to the public. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, there will be a parade on Saturday, the 15th at 3pm. This will take place along 30A and end at Gulf Place, followed by IrishFest at 4pm with live Celtic music by Cleghorn. Guests will enjoy dancing, face painting, and green beer. Over 50 floats and entries are expected this year in its 7th run.
