Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: The Beaches of South Walton are known in the whole State of Florida for having the purest, whitest sand. That’s why the residents of South Walton take pride in keeping their beaches clean and pristine. Celebrating their beautiful surroundings, South Walton invites all to the 5th Annual Walton County Earth Day Festival!

Held at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park on April 20th, the Earth Day Festival will provide a glorious day of activities.

Beginning at 9:00am for a Beach Clean-Up where you can join the community in showing your appreciation for our beautiful surroundings. The festivities begin at 10:00am with fun, educational activities for children, as well as cooking demos, guided hikes, and delicious fare for all. Meet the area’s local organizations and businesses as they lend a hand in educating and entertaining you.

Being such an active community it is only fitting that the Walton County Earth Day Festival finishes with 5 at 5, the Earth Day Sunset 5K Race at 5:00pm. Cross the finish line and look up at the stars with the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association. You can register for the 5K by visiting www.active.com/running/santa-rosa-beach-fl/earth-day-sunset-5k-2013.

Celebrate all the beauty that the Beaches of South Walton have to offer. Book your stay with Garrett Realty for April 20th, 2013 and be a part of the 5th Annual Walton County Earth Day Festival!
