South Walton: 5th Annual SongWriters Festival

Move over Nashville because on January 17^th South Walton presents the 5^th Annual SongWriters Festival! For three full days 30A will be transformed into Music City, where songwriters from all over come to share their passion for music. Nashville’s “in the round” setting is re-created by the venues of 30A for more of an intimate performance.

The 5^th Annual SongWriters Festival will feature 150 esteemed artists such as: Kristian Bush, Loudon Wainwright lll, Ani DiFranco, Craig Fuller, Glenn Phillips Band, Matthew Sweet, Jeffrey Steele, and the list goes on with more to be announced in the coming months.  A variety of musical styles ranging from folk and country to rock and blues will be well represented by talented songwriters. Over 200 performances will be shared among more than 25 venues belonging to the Beach Communities of 30A.

Stunning white sand beaches will set the scene for the songwriters to perform their original music and share the stories that inspired their work.  It’s a refreshing retreat where performers come together, giving their heart and soul to song. “Pleasing to the ears, easy on the eyes, and soothing to the soul” as stated by the Miami Sun, “this is a festival not to be missed”!
