The description of the property was very accurate. The bedding was very comfortable, appointments favorable and the parking and access were very easy. This is my first VRBO rental and I was quite apprehensive about the quality, logiistics and guidelines but this property was very easily managed. I received a text a few days before our arrival on how to get there, access instructions and contact information. During the stay, I received several texts on who to contact for any issues. We didn’t have any but a note to the property management company to help others; we stayed five days and had 2 trash bags and 4 dishwasher pods. We ran out of of gargage bags, dishwashing soap, toilet paper and dish soap to do the dishes. Annoying, but everything else was as described. We would rent again. Thank you.

The Legacy 101 condo has some great positives - location, size, beach and dune view is excellent as well as privacy, given the corner ground floor location of this unit. Even though it's ground floor, the unit and patio are elevated a bit for a great view and access down the stairs to the pool and very short walk to the beach. Negatives - there were 2 DOA cockroaches in plain sight on the master bedroom floor when we arrived. The only other issue for us personally was that the master bed in particular was too firm for us. Neither issue could have been remedied while we were there so there was no use in advising management during our stay. When you pay cleaning fees and exorbitant fees in general for rentals along 30-A - you expect better from a cleaning crew.

Interior with upgrades was in good shape. Property and pool showing its age. Cockroaches were seen occasionally. Sliding door in dining area could not be locked. Location and beach access is great.

Beauty And The Beach

Met all of our expectations - we used to own a unit (10-E) in Beachwood across the street and to compare the two cannot be done as The Legacy is incomparable. There were six of us there and all shared the same ratings. The only suggestion is to put 'grab bars' in the showers!

This was second time in 101 and will be back. Perfect floor plan for us with adult children and young grands. Loved the location and privacy with easy beach and pool access. Great view. Liked the updated furniture in living area (different from a previous visit). Benchmark promptly answered any texts we sent and were very professional and easy to work with.

Almost perfection

Loved the location of this condo. Especially pleased with the short distance and easy access to the beach and pool. Only concerns was the floors in the condo could use a good cleaning. Our feet and socks were black from them. There was a section of property fencing right out our sliding door that was missing. And lastly one morning I was walking down the hallway and two men were coming in the front door with no notice or knocking. This was very disturbing! Turns out they were from the condo association and an inspector for an insurance company. There was definitely a lack of communication that there were guests in the condo. This was the biggest disappointment of the rental.

Awesome location and ocean view, just steps from the beach

This is a four bedroom condo on beach with views from the main living room and the master bedroom. The only improvement I would make is to have another bedroom with a king bed. Otherwise it’s a large condo with plenty of space and right across the street from restaurants!

The toilets had black mold in them when we arrived. They obviously had not been cleaned in a while. We kill several roaches during the week. The furniture is very dated and worn out.

The property was the perfect size for our family a nd location perfect. It definitely needs some updates, sofa (no support), mattress in 2nd bedroom sags in the middle, oven lining separated, therefore it doesn't heat properly and bathtub in 3rd bedroom doesn't drain.

June 19-26, 2021 Stay in Legacy 101

This is our family’s 2nd year in 101 and the first floor access, quick steps to the pool and beach, plus the view, are wonderful! The only suggestion I have is to make the family room beach-themed in decor. I would update the couch, (rug(something softer), change out kitchen chairs(or at least the chair pads) and TV cabinet. The bedrooms are all so pretty, but the family room should match the soft colors and beach theme.
We love this location and the spaciousness of this unit! We’ve already booked for next year!

4 of us stayed here and completely enjoyed our visit even though Hurricane Sandy was just miles away. We appreciated the amenities of the condo since we spent 3 days inside playing bridge. This was our 3rd year renting this unit.

We loved the location, the easy access to the beach, and the view! Great to have access to the pool and beach right from the porch. Just had one issue with the stove which was immediately fixed. Appreciated that. Only thing would be to remove the ship bust. It was inappropriate and difficult to explain to our toddlers. It wasn't in the photos. Other than that- we loved everything else!

Legacy 101 was a wonderful unit for our extended family!! The location to the beach was great!! And, the addition of wi fi was even better. When we first booked, wifi was not offered, so we were soooo pleased the owner chose to add it. Thank you!!! On the other hand, we were without a dryer nearly the whole week we were there. That was a bummer. Those things happen in life. The huge shower for the master bedroom became the gathering place after the beach for all of the grandchildren. It was a fun place to clean up. Even the grown ups liked it also. Two small things we observed the unit needs: a cookie sheet in the kitchen and a dustpan. Other than that, we found the unit to be very well stocked!!! It is a great unit with a wonderful floor plan!!! A BIG thank you to the owner for sharing their property with us!!!!
