Our Favorite Ways to Spend the Day on 30A

There are so many wonderful ways to spend the day on 30A. Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, land lover or can’t wait to take a dip in the Gulf, an adventure seeker or ready to relax, 30A has something for everyone. Here are a few of our favorite ways to spend the day on 30A!

Early birds must make it a priority, at least one morning, to catch a 30A sunrise on the beach and over the Gulf of Mexico. The colors that paint the sky are absolutely incredible. Complete the morning with a bike ride to one of our favorite breakfast spots, Big Bad Breakfast at Inlet Beach. If you’re a night owl toasting the sunset from the roof top bar at Bud & Alley’s is a must. Then off to our favorite restaurant, the one and only Red Bar at Grayton Beach. Enjoy delicious food, exquisite cocktails, and one of the most talented jazz bands on the Emerald Coast.

Land lovers will adore our state parks. Point Washington State Forest is a 15,000-acre forest. It’s home to more than 10 miles of challenging trails for bikers, hikers, and nature lovers. Eden Gardens State Park consists of 163 upland acres just north of Seagrove Beach and along the shores of Tucker Bayou. Surrounded by beautiful gardens is the focal point of the park, the Wesley House. Moss-draped live oaks and ornamental gardens nestle this beautifully renovated, two-story house. It’s a favorite place for events and a great place to tour. Prefer the ocean? Spend hours playing in the Gulf of Mexico. Whether you’re riding the waves, snorkeling, or going on a deep-sea fishing trip, you’ll love being in the beautiful emerald green waters of 30A.

Adventure seekers will be thrilled to explore our rare coastal dune lakes. These are perhaps the most unique and precious features of 30A. 15 coastal dune lakes hug the coast and are embedded in our dune ecosystems. Observe wildlife in both fresh and salt waters. Paddle through the Gulf of Mexico to catch the dolphins playing as well as big sea turtles escorting you along the way. Ready to relax? Well there is nothing softer than our powder white sand and nothing more calming than the sound of the sea. Sit back and enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
