Three Days of Play on 30A

Presidents Day is on Monday, February 20th. Perfect for Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Louisiana license plates to head down or up to the beautiful white sand beaches of 30A for three days of play! Leave work early on Friday and you can be here by happy hour! With temperatures in the mid 70’s outdoor activities are flourishing and a day at the beach is delightful. 

You drive in Friday and check in to your favorite 30a rental in Seagrove Beach. The Winter Getaway Special allows you a little more cushion for splurging over the weekend. You get to one of your favorite spots, 723 Whiskey Bravo, just in time to enjoy a cocktail and watch a breathtaking sunset on the restaurants famous rooftop bar. Dinner is served, you sit back and relax after a day of travel. 

Saturday comes and you are in no rush. A pleasant walk on the beach and then you’re off to one of the largest winter food events in the area. The 28th Annual Gumbo Festival is the best gumbo cook-off on the Gulf Coast! Sample a variety of gumbo for 12-4pm while enjoying live music and a variety of family activities.  

You hop over to the Bubble, Brews & Culinary Qs event to sip on sparkling wines, locally crafted micro brews and delicious light bites while enjoying live music from 4-6pm. The night is young so as you head back to your cozy Seagrove Beach cottage you stop off at The Gathering Spot in WaterColor. There you enjoy a sushi snack and cold Sake beside the outdoor fire pits. 

Sunday Fun Day starts with breakfast at the Perfect Pig. Belgian Waffles with blackberry syrup, a side of thick hand sliced bacon and a Bloody Mary…yummy! A much needed walk on the beach after that meal and then off to an afternoon of live tunes with the Market Shops Winter Concert Series. 

Wow, you’ve packed a lot into three days! It’s time to enjoy that amazing beach view from your 30a rental with a pizza to go from Pizza by the Sea and a bottle of your favorite red wine. A three day get away you won’t forget! Making memories on 30A!!!
