Hidden Gems on 30A

The 30A area is growing ever so popular and there are many reasons to fall in love with it. While several places are widely known and a go-to for each vacation (ie. Red Bar, Another Broken Egg), there are a few hidden gems we wanted to point out. It’s difficult to find a place you wouldn’t want to come back to over and over but these are some of our favorite stops.

Old Florida Fish House offers a casual dining experience for the whole family with fresh seafood specials and incredible sushi. This Seagrove Beach hot spot has a screened-in porch, big screen TV’s, and live music on occasion with panoramic views of Eastern Lake. They are open from 11am-9pm, and stay open late on Friday and Saturdays. They boast the “best sushi on 30A” which you can order daily starting at 5pm.

Johnny McTighe’s is a bit hidden in a small shopping center near Adagio and is a nice Irish Pub and family restaurant. Their menu includes a variety of Irish food including the popular fish & chips but also authentic Philly cheesesteak, pizza, and amazing sandwiches that come with a pile of tater tots. There’s a deck out front for outdoor seating and a game room for all ages that includes darts, ski ball, air hockey, and foosball. McTighe’s is open from 11am-2am everyday so it can be the perfect spot when you get late night cravings.

Blue Mountain Beach Creamery has locals lining up for homemade ice cream, sorbet and yogurt. Each are made daily onsite from the freshest ingredients and it’s a very popular spot for the kids. Try the toasted coconut sorbet or key lime yogurt! The Creamery is open daily from 11am-10pm and is located just down from Garrett Realty Services’ newest rental home Sand Marino

Hurricane Oyster Bar is a local favorite for oysters, fish tacos, po boys, and TV’s everywhere so you can watch sports while you throw back one of 14 beers on tap. Oysters can be ordered a number of different ways including baked, steamed, grilled, and raw with several different styles. For dessert you can have chocolate seduction cake or key lime pie. They are open daily from 11am-10pm with happy hour from 3-6pm.

We know you didn’t need even more reasons to visit the Emerald Coast but now you have four new places to try (or revisit) that won’t disappoint. 30A vacation rentals are available nearby so you can add luxury to your trip and make it a vacation to remember!
