Baytowne Wharf Hosts Annual Beer Festival

The fall season arrives with a variety of festivals along the Emerald Coast. Unique specialty beers from around the nation will be discovered at the 7th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival. The event will be held at the Village of Baytowne Wharf inside the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Tickets are on sale now for two days of beer tastings and events. To enjoy the weekend and everything the beach community has to offer, many visitors make arrangements to stay overnight at Destin condos or 30A vacation rentals. 

On Friday, October 17th from 6:00 to 9:30pm, Baytowne Wharf will present “Beer Bingo” the first event of its kind. Guests can pick up Bingo Cards at the Events Plaza Stage. The game is played by visiting each merchant until the Bingo Card is completed. At 9:00pm, all cards will be turned in and entered for a chance to win prizes such as: an exclusively designed YOLO board, a Leinenkugel’s Grizzly cooler stocked with beer, a fly board session with Power Up Sports, and more! 

On Saturday, October 18th from 12:00 to 2:00pm, the VIP event begins. This event will feature exclusive beer tastings, BBQ, and a signature beer glass. All VIP attendees will have early access to the main event.

The Craft Beer Tasting is the main event and will take place on Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00pm.  This event will feature more than 40 breweries, offering close to 200 domestic and international craft beers to sample. Brewery representatives will answer questions and educate attendees on the variety of beer styles. The Owsley Brothers and Native Run will provide live entertainment during the Craft Beer Tasting.

Baytowne Beer Festival is an annual weekend event bringing patrons to the beaches of South Walton. A portion of the festival proceeds will benefit the Fisher House & Sandestin Foundation for Kids.
