We have vacationed in Destin for several years and wanted to give 30A a try. We were looking for something a little more quiet and family oriented. We loved the location in Seagrove Beach. We were worried that the sand and water might not be as nice as Destin but they were. Unfortunately, there were massive amounts of algae along the shoreline - just bad timing. The condo is within a couple of miles of Watercolor, Seaside and Publix. You are about midway between Destin and Panama City Beach which is quite convenient. This end unit is is very spacious and the gulf front balconies provide spectacular views! Garage parking is available in front of unit and the beach is just steps away. The condo was nicely furnished and clean. Make sure to bring everything you need because dish detergent, paper towels etc are not provided. We were very pleased with our accommodations and feel like this is a great value compared to other properties. Would definitely stay here again!

This unit is spacious and nice, however, there are stairs leading up to main level and stairs leading to 2nd floor. The banister is very wide, so it is very dangerous for young kids. We have a 1 and 2 year old and we ended up staying only 1 night. It was hard for us to relax with them running around both sets of stairs. The location of Emerald Hill is awesome, right in the middle of Seagrove. We just didn't realize how many stairs there would be. Oh, and p.s...bring your eye masks for the master bedroom :)

We arrived late and went to the lock box for our key and materials. We had no instructions regarding getting into the box. There was a telephone number on the box, but no instructions. Luckily a lady was leaving the Garrett office (it was about 5:15 pm). She knew the combination for the lock and let us get our material and keys out. The remainder of the stay was fine. The villa was fine. Only thing I would recommend is that the owners provide beach service and maybe unlock the bikes for renters to use.

We vacationed during a time that was not very busy and really enjoyed the peace and quiet! Emerald Hill 27 was nicely decorated and had plenty of room for my husband and me. Sleeper sofas in the den and large bedroom were available also. Everything was very clean inside, but the patio furniture should be cleaned soon. Our ice maker wasn't working when we arrived, but was fixed promptly when we reported it. I would recommend putting a mirror in the bedroom since there is only the one in the bathroom. The kitchen was well-appointed, and we were pleased with the televisions, DVD players, and selection of books. The pool was nice and we had it to ourselves! We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the beautiful beach which was very clean and not crowded. Although maintenance work was being done at the complex while we were there, it did not limit or disturb us. We absolutely loved the convenient location near restaurants, shopping and the Garrett Realty office. The people who helped us at the office were very friendly, competent, and helpful with answering questions about the area. We are looking forward to visiting the Seagrove Beach again soon!

We love the floor plan, space, and proximity to the beach of the condo. There are a few minor things that could improve the experience in the unit. The sink is rusty and so is the refrigerator. Something about these just makes it uncomfortable. Other than that we enjoyed our vacation.

UNIT WAS VERY CLEAN,QUIET THIS TIME OF YEAR!GREAT FOR A WEEK OF RELAXING!WALKING DISTANCE TO SEASIDE,ALSO CLOSE WALK TO THE BEACH!ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE HEAT UNIT-COULD NOT SET TEMP.IT WOULD BE HOT, THEN BLOW COLD. DID NOT REPORT,WE JUST MANAGED, DID NOT WANT TO COMPLAIN! STAFF VERY NICE AT FRONT DESK!

We love this little place! Perfect for a couple. The kitchen is totally equipped with everything you need if you love to cook. Easy beach access is a plus. We have been staying in the Sea Grove Beach area for over 20 years and have stayed at different properties offered by Garrett; this one is definately on the top of our list. Emerald Hill is close to everything; a short bike ride or walk from shopping and dining. We will certainly return to this unit.

The condo was very nice and the condo complex was also. We began our stay with a maintenance issue - the masster bath shower didn't draiin and the dishwasher was broken. Both were fixed on Monday. Also, no communal grills on property so we had to buy one from Publix and leave it there. Seagrove Beach is a fantaastic place to vacation in. We have been going to Seagrove for 12 years running and hope to return again next year.

The unit was clean & provided all needed amenities. A separate ice-maker in the kitchen was a lovely addition for the numerous walks to the beach. The unit was centrally located, yet completely peaceful & relaxing. The unit could have used some updating in the decor department as there appeared to be no cohesive decorating theme. There appeared to be remnants of lodge, French country, contemporary and miscellaneous decorating themes contained within the same space. Additionally, the master bath jacuzzi tub needs to be replaced. However, the unit was clean. Overall, I would recommend this unit if you're looking for a laid back vacation.

We have been coming to Emerald Hill since 1987 so obviously love the area and feel very at home here and have always been happy with the various units. This unit #4 itself was beautiful but we were disappointed with a few things that we had not experienced in the past. The furniture (table tops mainly) were not clean and so the first thing we did was clean them outselves. The beds were extremely hard to the point of feeling bruised. The towels were not the quality we were accustomed to in the past. Otherwise we were happy with things.

We stayed in this condo for a week and loved it. It does not have a beach view but is only about 50 feet from the beach. It is pool side and has an outdoor table which was nice. The complex is very quiet and family friendly. The beaches are fabulous. The area was great. We loved riding bikes and walking on the walking paths. We even got to see the end of summer firework show. The only issue I had was the bathroom was very small.
