High Pointe Resort Reviews

This was our first time at High Pointe and had a great, though very hot week. The resort location is wonderful. It is in a quiet area with beautiful Rosemary Beach shops and restaurants across the street. Close to Panama City Beach and Seaside for more shopping and restaurants, though a bit of a drive to Destin where we have stayed many times before. The pool is wonderful and the grounds immaculate. We didn't take advantage of the Turtle Bar because it was a little pricey, instead opting to enjoy lunch in our unit and going out to some of the fabulous restaurants in the area for dinner at night. Nice having a relatively uncrowded beach with chairs and umbrella included. Unit 123 was comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and much appreciated washer and dryer. Excellent location for the pool, though no view of the beach (which we knew before booking). The only complaint was that some of the furniture and cabinets were a little worn and the dresser and nightstand in the the second bedroom smelled of mildew. The kids could not put their clothes in them and ended up sharing the master bedroom dresser with us. The smell was pretty strong in the bedroom all the time. I'm sure the problem could be remedied by simply putting a new dresser in the room. Garrett Realty was wonderful to work with. We look forward to coming back to High Pointe as well as trying some of Garrett's other properties in the future.

We just returned from our vacation at High Pointe. My family and I had a great time. Seacrest and Rosemary are awesome. The condo was great. It was very comfortable and affordable. I walked every morning about 3 miles around the area enjoying the sites. We are defintely going to try and make it back next year.

We love staying at high pointe 123 because it has the easiest access to the pool area. We just walk out to the pool through our back door no elevator needed! It has a beautiful view of one of the pools waterfalls. This condo has all the comforts of home from a well stocked kitchen, flat screen TV's, and even games for the kids. Loved the patio furniture!

I loved this unit, because of its awesome location right next to the pool! The beds were very comfortable and we were right across from a bike rental shop! I loved the location of High Pointe itself, right next to Rosemany. I will be sure to stay in this unit again!

We were very pleased with our stay at High Pointe Resort. We loved being on the beach side of 30A, the huge pool, the beach chair set-up and having a condo with plenty of room for everyone. I really liked the 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom. The online pictures of the condo are very accurate and I thought the furnishings were very nice. We only had 2 small issues. The shower heads are in bad need of replacement and you can't take advantage of the unit being on the ground floor right in front of the pool because the sliding door doesn't have a lock so in order to lock your unit you have to go out the front door and through the parking lot. We would reccomend this unit and possibly stay here again.

We have stayed in Destin at the Tops'l resort for several years, and decided to try someplace on 30-A this year. We loved the quiet, out of the way feel of Seacrest and Rosemary Beach. High Pointe is yards away from Rosemary Beach, and a great location for walking to restaurants or the deli. The condo itself was very comfortable, and the king size bed in the 2nd bedroom allowed our 3 daughters to sleep together, instead of using the sleeper sofa in the living room. The beach service included in the rental was very convenient - two chairs and an umbrella. The pool is awesome. If you've stayed in Destin in the past and are looking for a quieter alternative, still within driving distance of the Destin restaurants and activities, you need to check out High Pointe.

This is a great unit that has great access to the pool. The unit was clean, spacious and well furnished. Our only complaint was that it can get really loud at night when you are that close to the pool. We had trouble getting our 2 year old to sleep.

Our family of 4 had a great time at High Pointe. It was a very family friendly place. The pool was especially clean which was 20 steps from our patio which was great for a 6 and 8 year old. We always stay in the area but first time renting a condo. We usually rent a home with other families but due to the economy they could not join us. This was definetly a great time for all of us. So close to the beach also.

Condo was nicely furnished - clean, comfortable and roomy. Great pool and uncrowded beach area. Quiet area, traffic not bad. Good places to walk and ride bikes. Would like to visit again!

The condo was a little small and could usesome updating but the pool and beach were wonderful. The beach bar on property was great but the drinks were way overpriced and the service was bad, food was good. The areas was great and relaxing.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed at Highpoint Resort,first year in 24W. It has a great view. The master bedroom is a little bright in the morning,so if you like to sleep in it is a little hard.We played so hard with our kids we were really exhausted ,so it didn't bother us too much. Overall-we would definately choose this condo again!

Just got back from a very relaxing trip to FL! The High Pointe Resort was very nice. Great pool, easy access to the beach and spacious condos. I also enjoyed walking over to the stores in Rosemary beach. I wish the kitchen had been a little bit better stocked with cooking utensils and pans etc. but oh well we made it work! Definitely recommend!

This is a fantastic gulf front condo. It is on the first floor, with a grassy hill that our small children loved. The kids loved the huge lagoon pool. We loved the view of the beach from our patio. Having stayed up and down 30A for years, I would describe this as the best location. Steps away from Rosemary Beach, and a bike ride away from all of the other beaches, shops, and restaurants. A superb spot for a family vacation! The only suggestion I would make if possible is to consider trimming down some of the hedge just outside the patio which blocks some of the view. We will definitely be back!

High Pointe is a very well maintained property. 1/8 mile from Rosemary which means you can walk to restaurants/ice cream/movies on the green etc. Walk to your restaurant by sidewalk, then walk back on the beach. The property is manicured and well controlled. Pool is immaculate. Having a bar/restaurant on property is invaluable when you just don't feel like going out to eat. We had a significant plumbing issue and the property responded immediately.

This was the third consecutive year we have stayed at High Pointe Condominiums and the second consecutive year in this particular unit. The unit is furnished nicely with all the amenities one could need. Fantastic location to the pool, and the beach is beautiful. Loved having the chairs and umbrella set up everyday when we got to the beach. Can't wait to go back!

We had a great condo to stay in on our trip! Very clean and spacious for our family of 6. We loved the ocean view and enjoyed the nice furniture and large bathrooms. We ate in many nights and loved the fact that the large kitchen could seat everyone with no problem!

High Pointe 221 was very comfortable and met all our expectations. The location next to Rosemary Beach afforded the getaway from PCB and the masses yet was still close enough to nice restaurants, shops, etc. The beach was the main attraction and the nice pool came in handy on windy and kind of cooler days(we had a couple). Would highly recommend to others. Thanks for a nice and comfortable vacation.

We had an awesome time. We loved the grounds and amenities. We however thought the pool was way too cold. Too cold to even swim in. The beach though was wonderful and where we spent most of our time.

We love visiting this part of Florida, and this vacation was no exception! The resort was great...loved the lagoon pool, proximity to Rosemary and Watercolor beaches, and of course the beautiful beaches themselves:) The unit itself was in good condition and seemed well kept. It is on the first floor so you lose a bit if the view, but that is inevitable, I guess. It was a great vacation for my family!

My family and I absolutely love High Pointe Resort. The condos are immaculate and tastefully decorated. The beaches are beautiful. The lagoon pool is gorgeous. We loved the beachside bar (though it was closed this past October - it's open during the peak months). The location is great - right in between Panama City and Destin, not too far from lovely Seaside. The beach is not too crowded, even in the summer. It's the perfect atmosphere for families, couples, groups, or anything in between. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone thinking about staying here.

High Pointe Resort was one of our favorite condos we have rented. The condo was well furnished and comfortable. Loved the huge master bedroom and bath. The best was that it had a washer and dryer. We have stayed in many that did not and when you have children you need it. The Lagoon style pool was spectacular and the little waterfalls here and there in it made great pictures. We ate at the beachside bar/restaurant on days we wanted to spend the whole day on the beach. The best little shops were across the street and my little girl loved to run in the fountain spray while we shoped at the kiosks. The streets all have trees lined on both sides and sidewalks. We rented bikes and felt very safe letting our teens ride in the area to the local Starbucks. We loved the resort so much we did not even want to venture out to the city. I would recommend it highly. You will enjoy your stay as much as us and we can't wait to return.

We absolutely love Seagrove, and High Pointe is a perfect place to stay with your family while you visit there. This was not our first stay there, but it was our first stay in this unit. The layout was perfect for us (husband, wife, two teenagers and grandma). The decor was very pleasant, and the kitchen had everything we could have wanted (even muffin pans!) The beach was super and the pool is great, too. I recommend this location to any family. And don't forget to eat at Angelina's and Goatfeathers and all of the other great restaurants while you are there.

A group of girls rented this condo. A year prior we had rented a larger unit - 3 bd. There is no place better to get away than Highpointe. AND CLEAN - the POOL - best on the Gulf Coast - HighPointe would be my destination every year.

We love High Pointe Resort and this was a great Gulf-front condo at a fairly reasonable price. It was not as updated as some other condos at this resort but it was just fine for the price.
