One Seagrove Place Reviews

My family and I enjoyed 7 nights in this condo July 2010. We originally had planned for 5 nights, but because we loved it so much, we extended our stay for 2 more nights. The kitchen was well furnished, beautiful decor, convenient to pool, beach walk, and grill. Grocery store within a 5 minute drive and Snappy Turtle across the street. Hope to return again someday! One Seagrove Place was just as wonderful as the town of Seagrove, FL!

Our family enjoyed the stay and accomodations. Garrett Realty was very accomodating and friendly. The room was clean and met all of our needs but could use a little updating. We would definitely consider staying there again. Overall stay was good.

Very nice view from oceanside. First day we got there we had problems with the front door but they fixed it the next day and never had any more problems. The home was very accomodating and nicely decorated. The least that we liked that is was 40-45 minutes to Destin when we wanted to do our activities but still a very nice beach.

THis was our 2nd visit to Seagrove..we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the unit we stayed in was very nice and well kept. My only suggestion to the owners would be: with having 4 remotes I think it is necessary to provide an index card somewhere near the DVD player oh how to operate the system..we struggled for over an hour on how to use the dvd!! and to no avail unable to watch 2 movies we rented for our kids!! It was more than frustrating!! In addition, I was hoping to get a refund on my movie rentals and was not successful, it was only $6 which is really not the point, that really should have been credited to my account without question. Finally, overall the experience was GREAT and cant wait until next year. Does Garrett Realty has properties in Grayton Beach?

One Seagrove Place certainly seems to be a family oriented place to stay. There was very little noise, no obnoxious partiers, etc. We especially liked seeing the security guard at the entrance in the evenings. We've been going to Seagrove for years but never at this facility. It's close to what we needed--family friendly restaurants, the Thumb, video rental, etc. The elevators are surpisingly spacious, and there are luggage carts and grocery buggies, which make check in/out days pretty smooth. Maybe the only down side was the beach was a bit crowded, but it was certainly tolerable. Our unit, #607, was quiet nice. Some of the amenities are a bit on the older size (no flat screen TVs here), but everything was certainly well maintained, clean, and functional. We had a great week!

Seagrove Beach and all of 30A is a semi-magical place on the Florida panhandle. Less commercialized than Destin, magnificent sugar white beaches and turquoise, calm water. The unit we stayed in could have used a coat of paint and a little attention to detail with the appliances, screen door to the patio and tv remotes, but it was certainly acceptable for a beach vacation and had a million dollar view. The surface of the tennis court was cracked to the point that it affected play. Overall, the unit was ok for the off-season price we paid. It needs some sprucing up to be worth the high season prices they charge in the summer. The advantage of going in September is there is no wait for a table when you go out to dinner and very little car traffic. The downside is hurricanes - we had one cross the gulf while we were there and the beach was shut down for 3 days. Our favorite part of 30A is Grayton Beach and that is where we will stay next time we go to 30A. Grayton has the best beaches and there is nothing better than the Red Bar in the evenings.

We love South Walton Beaches for family and a safe place for a Girl's Weekend. We had a wonderful time and the facility at One Seagrove Place was just perfect. We had lots of space and storage for everyone. Would recommend it for a week or a weekend of fun.

The condo was great. We have stayed in Seagrove several times. And except for the Driftaway we rented, this was the best. My husband has to have an oceanfront view and this did not disappoint. You had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. Only wish the master bedroom mattress was more comfortable. Everything else was great, even the reading material that was left for the visitors. Be sure to take your own beach towels. And enjoy local resturants. We be booking with Garrett Realty again this summer.
