     Nice updated unit. Actually, one of the only updated units in Eastern Shores. Great views and unit had some minor maintenance needs (nothing to upset a vacation by any means).
Rental company (Garrett), not so great to work with. The people at the front desk of the rental company were rude and NOT helpful. When I reported a couple of maintenance issues, the woman behind the desk gave me a dirty look and told me to call the maintenance department myself. Nothing like taking time out of you vacation to do someone else's job. Then, the rental company (Garrett), is just very difficult to work with.
While we were on this vacation, we were looking at another property for another vacation and I was told that I could not tour it first (as you can with ResortQuest). Once again, the woman at the front desk was just rude and told me that under no circumstances could anyone just tour a property.
I am not sure about you, but before I am dropping several thousand on a rental, and having my entire family stay there - I want to see if the unit will work for us.
Needless to say, I will not rent from Garrett again - which is a shame as this is a nice unit. Reviewed on Thursday, April 09, 2009Garrett Realty does have a policy that we do not give people keys to properties for viewing. We do not own the properties, but manage them for homeowners and there are liabilities associated with allowing unsupervised touring. We have updated photos of all rentals on our website showing current decor, views from porches and balconies and property amenities. We also have an in-lobby computer where people inquiring about specific properties can look at the photos and we can answer any questions.
Our goal is always to help our prospective guests find the best vacation property to suit their wants and needs.
