This was a nice updated condo that was well furnished and comfortable with new carpet.This condo is very quiet. The view from the balcony was great as it is the end unit. Great place to watch the sun rise with that first cup of coffee! We did have an issue with the dryer which was politely handled both by the front desk at Garrett and by the maintenance and service men. Unfortunately, it was not resolved as it was a problem the the condo association had with the dryer venting in the roof. Garrett did come by quickly with a huge bag of additional towels for us! If the owners could add a few things, it would be perfect: laundry basket, dustpan, additional serving bowls and cooking pieces (flat frying pan). Also, please recheck your instructions for the surround sound. We could not get it to work. So far, no problem with the oil on the beaches. BP had workers walking the beach daily. The beaches seemed more clean than I have seen in recent years.

Garrett Realty helped me find this small condo right on the beach - no long stairways, not on the bluff above the beach, but right on the beach. The unit is on a back street and so quiet and no road noise. We had wonderful views and could hear the waves from the living room/kitchen area of the condo all week long. Garrett staff was very responsive when we called about a problem with a smoke detector.

Our stay at Eastern Shores 101 was a great experience for my wife and I. While attending a local conference, we were able to relax and enjoy the wonderful view every day. The condo was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the furnishings and decor were a great fit for the oceanfront. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook our daily meals which included fresh seafood and fish from local markets. Apart from the construction next door during the day, the only sounds were waves.

To our renters: I would like to emphasize that if you have any problems during your stay to contact Garrett Realty while you are here. Anything from screen doors to pot holders can be taken care of. We want you to have a relaxed vacation and not have to worry about the little things. To our guest that did not like the painting: We have new art!

We love it! There's so much room and the kitchen is really nice. You can't get any closer to the beach without sleeping on it. We've already booked it again for this summer.

Although our stay was very comfortable for the most part, we did have trouble with the screen doors falling off track. We ending up leaning them in place after many attempts to put them on track. The furnishings are ready for updates as well but our experience with Garrett Realtor was very good. We will return but will check to see which units at Eastern Shores have furnishings which have been updated recently. We also arrived at the same time tropical storm Ida did so amenities were limited due to closures. We made the best of bad weather and had a very relaxed vacation.

View was great and condo was clean. We were very disappointed, however. We were there Oct 31 in the off season. No one was around. Felt like unit was very overpriced. Was so dated! Electricity was off for about 3 hours whcih was no ones fault but inconvenient. Would not stay there again.

Loved this condo! Right on the beach and stocked well. Very clean and comfortable and it was so nice having the washer & dryer. Had blender, toaster, cf maker, good variety of pots and pans & microwave but be sure to take your own pot holders as there were none. Having an end unit was a plus. We will definitely stay here again.

Our experience at Eastern Shores was a great one. It is an older condo, but well kept. Best of all, it was right on the beach so there wasn't a long walk to get there. The only complaint that I would have, is that we could hear every foot step from the people that rented above us. Overall a good experience. Will Cataula, GA

This is the first time my family had visited one of the panhandle beaches. The beach was beautiful and the beachfront location perfect. We traveled with two children under the age of 10 and they both very much enjoyed playing in the lake next door as well as the ocean.

My family and I stayed at Eastern Shores Unit 209 and we loved every minute of the vacation. One week was not long enough for us and we plan to visit next for a stay of two weeks. I love the condo, scene from the balcony and the wonderful GULF.

This condo sits right on the beach and has the most spectacular view! The inside was very clean and in order. The only thing that didn't sit right with me was that there was mold on the walls on the tub. I don't know if the cleaning people didn't clean it correctly or if it has been there for a while but it was a little bit gross. The kitchen was fully stocked we could have used a few more plates, but other than that it was wonderful. I must say that if I return it would be for the location and the outstanding view. My children loved it and so did I!

The view was terrific. Very close to the beach. Out the door, and on the beach in less than 1 minute! Unit was nice, but master bedroom needs work. Blinds were missing(someone had pinned up a towel to keep the sun out) The TV in the master bedroom was 13" color. That is the only negative thing.

I was pleased with the condo, everything was wonderful...But I do not believe that I will be using Garrett Realty....When I went to check in the lady at the front desk was very RUDE...she was either having a bad day,or wasn't feeling well, but I still feel that she should of been friendlier to a paying customer....other then that everything was wonderful.....

Very peaceful and quiet area. Not many people on the beach in our area which made it nice to sit and enjoy the gulf. The accomodations were very nice and everything was very clean! We will be coming back and hope that we can again rent the unit we were in.

GARRETT REALTY SERVICES ARE GREAT. THEY ARE FRIENDLY,VERY ACCOMODATING AND EASY TO WORK WITH. WE LOVE EASTERN SHORES, OUR GIRLS REALLY LIKE THE LOFT ROOM FOR THEMSELVES. THE CONDO HAS EVERYTHING WE NEED FOR OUR STAY TO BE ENJOYABLE AND CONVENIENT. OUR FAVORITE THING IS THE OVERALL SIZE OF THE CONDO BUILDING AND ITS PROXIMITY TO THE BEACH IS AWESOME. WE SAW THE DOLPINS FROM OUR BALCONY 3 OF THE 6 DAYS WE WERE THERE. THE ONLY THING I WOULD RECOMMEND IS THAT THE CLOTHES DRYER BE FIXED, IT TOOK 3 HOURS TO DRY A NORMAL LOAD OF LAUNDRY. WE ALSO LOVE THE SMALL TOWN VILLAGE-TYPE FEELING OF THE AREA.IF YOU WANT BIG CITY, YOU CAN GO TO DESTIN TOO AND ITS ONLY 25 MINUTES AWAY. IT'S DEFINITELY OUR FAVORITE SPOT AND WISH WE COULD COME MORE OFTEN.

The condo was outstanding! We highly recommend this property to anyone. The family atmosphere was great. We actually swam in the gulf for 2 days with out jelly fish or sea weed. We will definatly be back to stay in 209 soon.

Hi. Our vaacation was fine - nothing to write home about. Pros - The unit was clean, good location on the beach, end unit, great patio furniture, great view. Cons - furnishings were definitely worn and very dated, noise from above was the worst I've experienced. It was so bad some evenings that we had to wear earplugs. A word of advice - spend a few $$ to replace that awful picture (or the picture frame) in the kitchen/dining.

Eastern Shores 211 was the only updated unit out of the 5 units reserved by family members. It was clean and had a cozy atomsphere. We had some problems maintaining connectivity online. A call was placed to maintance who responded rather quickly. Unfortunately, the problem was not totaly resolved and found myself unplugging the wireless router to reboot several times. Location was fine. A simple but nice amentity would have been a supply of spices.

we stayed from 5/23-5/30/09 loved the colors used in decorating. you might want to consider a ceiling fan in the bedroom for cooler sleeping. the whole complex is great and very convenient to the beach. we'll be back for sure!!

Wonderful condo. Awesome view of the beach. Completely unobstructed. Great view of the beach from the covered patio. Being on the ground floor we were right there at the beach. It rained in the mornings both days we were there so we got to sit in the comfort of the condo and watch the waves. Really roomy and comfy couch with built in recliner. We only have 4 of us but can accomodate up to 6 comfortably. No guard rail for upper bunk though so we put the kids on the pull out couch. We'll be back next year.

Eastern Shores condos are great and you are just feet from the beach. Seagrove is wonderful -- beautiful and family oriented -- but close to both Destin and Panama City. This unit is very comfortable and extremely clean. The view from the balcony is exquisite!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. We like the location. We used the running trail nearby. We liked the close access to the beach and the close view of the ocean. We called the chair service and he was there setting up the chairs within a 1/2 hour. The condo was well equipped and comfortable. It was also quiet and a little off the main road. We do recommend this condo.

We had gone back and forth between this property and one about three blocks from the beach. Every day we were there we were so thankful that we chose Eastern Shores! If you want a quiet, nicely appointed condo, without all the hoopla, this is it! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the bunk beds were great for the kids and we loved the comfy king size bed. The beach is not crowded and has the lake and lake inlet for added fun for the kids! We even caught two blue crabs in the stream! We highly recommend this property and can't wait to vacation there again!

A last minute dash to the beach found us staying in this lovely little gem! My teenage nephew and his friends really enjoyed the open loft. The nearby lagoon offered a safe and hospitable retreat when there were a few days of strong currents and jellyfish in the ocean. A nice quite area a few minutes away from lovely Seaside and a short drive from the fun in Panama City Beach. Highly recommend for a nice family get away.

Nice updated unit. Actually, one of the only updated units in Eastern Shores. Great views and unit had some minor maintenance needs (nothing to upset a vacation by any means). Rental company (Garrett), not so great to work with. The people at the front desk of the rental company were rude and NOT helpful. When I reported a couple of maintenance issues, the woman behind the desk gave me a dirty look and told me to call the maintenance department myself. Nothing like taking time out of you vacation to do someone else's job. Then, the rental company (Garrett), is just very difficult to work with. While we were on this vacation, we were looking at another property for another vacation and I was told that I could not tour it first (as you can with ResortQuest). Once again, the woman at the front desk was just rude and told me that under no circumstances could anyone just tour a property. I am not sure about you, but before I am dropping several thousand on a rental, and having my entire family stay there - I want to see if the unit will work for us. Needless to say, I will not rent from Garrett again - which is a shame as this is a nice unit.

Garrett Realty does have a policy that we do not give people keys to properties for viewing. We do not own the properties, but manage them for homeowners and there are liabilities associated with allowing unsupervised touring. We have updated photos of all rentals on our website showing current decor, views from porches and balconies and property amenities. We also have an in-lobby computer where people inquiring about specific properties can look at the photos and we can answer any questions.

My twin sister and I stayed here and loved our week-long vacation. November had great weather and a nice relaxed atmosphere. She has vacationed with her family at Seagrove many times before and has stayed at different places, including this complex. This is the first time that she had vacationed in the autumn, and we both loved it. We want to come back routinely in the future.

These condos are great and a good price with excellent proximity to the beach. We wanted to stay right on the beach because we have smaller children (that is the best way to be at the beach with small children) and we had stayed next door to this unit before but wanted a unit with two bathrooms and Eastern shores had it. Units are comfortable, nicely decorated and so relaxing. It is so nice to hear the waves right outside your door or sit on the balcony and enjoy the evening breeze. I love staying on the beach and will stay here again for sure.

I found this condo surfing the net and it turned into one of my favorite bday gifts I've rented for myself. This condo when i stayed there, was very clean and the view was spectacular. It had all the amenities from kitchen, to tv & movie viewing station to a great deck. Would absolutely stay here again.

I was a little concerned about the location of these condos before the trip, because we had stayed much closer to Seaside in the past. It turned out to be a great spot! There was some really rough surf for a couple of days-- the ocean was actually closed! so we were able to set up by Eastern Lake and my 8 year old had a blast skimboarding on the lake all day. It is also a great place for long walks, we ended up real far one day-- just seeking out more and more. The condo itself was nothing special--but clean, comfortable and the views and the location can't be beat.

My deceased husband & I owned a 3 story home on the beach in Seagrove until 3 yrs ago. I have stayed in many places since then & found this condo to meet my picky standards. I stayed twice in this same unit because I felt comfortable with the location & the decor. I would have liked it more if there had been an elevator.
