Dune Villas Reviews

We were worried about the oil spill, but it reportedly did not effect this area and only got down as far as Alabama Shores 150 miles away. The beach is white sand and the unit has a great view of the water and beach from both inside and out. Not the Ritz Carlton by any means, but you feel like you are on an oceanliner at sea looking out the doorwalls. Very close (one mile) to small town of Seaside, as well as shopping and golf courses. We rented bikes and kayaks at a place near where we checked-in, right across the street from the unit and had a great time. We have already booked for next year.

All I can say is"What a view". No matter where you are in the condo you feel like you are on the water as it is as close as you can get to it. The kids had a ball building sand castles in the pristine white sand. No hesitation about returning to this unit.

You can't get any closer to the beach than this unit. Very nicely appointed and the unit overlooks the white sandy beach, right on Gulf of Mexico. What a view of emerald green and blue water aa well as dolphins swimming by in the morning and afternoon. We can't wait to get back next year!

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay at Dune Villa's 4A. October is a great time to visit this area if you don't like the 90 degree temps you have in the summer, but you can still enjoy the warm waters of the Gulf. The condo was clean and was furnished adequately, although it would not be considered upscale by most. Check in and out was easy and Garrett Realty was attentive. I rate 4 stars instead of 5 for cost of stay plus I do not agree with Garrett policy of charging what amounts to damage insurance, that they keep, rather than a security deposit that would be totally refunded after departure.

We enjoyed our stay in 4C at Dune Villas. Though the unit could use a little cosmetic attention (vertical blinds, dingy living room furniture and a bit more cookware is needed)we found the unit to be a good value. You cannot beat the location. Seagrove is much more desirable than the neighboring plastic and contrived beach side neighborhoods. Be sure and bring your own t-paper. They only provide one roll! we have stayed in the same condo for 3 years in a row!! the location to the beach is perfect for our family to come & go. we love seagrove and our 2nd home;) we also been pleased with the cleanliness when we arrive. THANKS

We loved the beaches. They were clean and not overcrowded. The local business and restuarants are great!! Love Angelina's pizza and lobster lasagna. Condo was neat, clean, and very roomy. Wonderful view of ocean. You can even hear the waves through the doors at night. We have stayed in Dune Villas many times and plan to return.

My wife and I stayed at Dunes Villas # 4A, we were not sure what to expect as we were unfamiliar with these units- quite a surprise, a comfortable very clean one bedroom, just steps away from the beautiful beach- we would definitely stay there again. The check in process was smooth and fast, no hastle, location is ideal.

We stayed four nights and really did not want to leave. The condo is on the 1st floor and we were a litle concerned that we would not actually be able to sit on the patio and seen the ocean due to the dunes, but this was not the case at all since it was high up on a hill. The view is awesome and the condo pretty much has all you can ask for. It was only two of us so we did not use the fold out couch, but the bed was comfortable and the unit very nice and clean with plenty of kitchen utensils, pans, etc. We wanted to stay someone fairly quiet and safe in a family type environment since it wsa just myself and my 18-year-old daughter and this was definitely the spot. Wi-Fi was also available, which I used to remotely do some work. This realty company was very quick, friendly and efficient to deal with and the condo was awesome. We have saved all our information wtih hopes to return again to the same spot and condo.

Condo was neat and clean and as advertised. Check-in was speedy as well as painless. Check-out was as simple as leaving the key in the drop box how convenient. Everything worked well except for the fan in the bedroom. The overall experince was very good. Will definitely return.

The layout fit our family well.The only problems we had were dryer probably needs a new heating element and the sliding screen doors to the decks need to be replaced.Everything else worked fine We have stayed at many Garrett retals over the years any have enjoyed them all.

My family and I have stayed at DV-8B several times. It is very comfortable, easy beach access and plenty of room for a family of 6! Close to pool and beach and grill area. We love Dune Villas and can't wait to go again.

Absolutely the best family vacation we have taken in a long time. We had the best time, and this condo was perfect! You are literally on the beach and there is a pool, too. This condo has ocean views from 2 stories, and we heard the waves all night. The kids were in heaven, and so happy. The best white sand to make sand castles--truly a blast. All the restaurants cater to families.....it was wonderful. Our favorite restaurants were Angolina's and Florida Fish House. We highly recommend others to stay here and certainly plan on returning in the future.

My family and I had such a wonderful time. We rented bikes and rode all over the community. The shop owners in the Seaside/Seagrove area were very friendly. I would highly recommend to friends and family to rent in the area. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Great beachfront rental. A little outdated, but the location is great. Kitchen was big and well stocked. Great views of the sunrise and sunset right from your patio. We have stayed up and down this trip and I would definitely recommend this one for the price!

We have rented from your agency for the past 10 years. Your agency is top-notch. We have always enjoyed our stay at ecah location in Seagrove. We stopped renting about 1 year ago, because we purchased a unit at Seagrove Highlands. The rest of our family Hilla, Barnes and Passsero alway rent from your agency, especially the 4th of July each year. Thanks !!!!

We (4 adults) stayed at DV-4B awhile back and had a really great experience there. There was plenty of room - definitely more than we needed - and the whole townhouse was comfortable and well-appointed without being frou-frou. Only exception: I would have reservations about putting anybody in the 3rd floor attic/loft bedroom. There is zero ventilation up there (being on the top floor with no windows) and it was incredibly hot the few times we went upstairs to investigate the space. There a big box fan sitting on the floor pointed at the twin beds, but I doubt it would do a lick of good on a summer night. Views from the living room and master BR balconies are excellent. The balcony in the double queen room was useless, as it was rickety, tiny and overlooked the parking lot. A random plus: the unit is physically situated in such a way that our satellite radio picked up its signal with no problem. We plugged our Inno into the stereo and were kept entertained by XM all week, which really pleased my husband. (We didn't have the same luck with the condo we rented the following year at Sago Sands - a very chi chi condo, but no satellite reception. And the nice stereo system was unusable because it wasn't even connected!!) DV-4B's kitchen was reasonably well stocked, even if the decor was a bit dated. We don't really care about the latter, however. It certainly suited our cooking needs for a week. All told, DV-4B is a very comfortable, nice townhome that we would definitely rent again if we needed that much space and would certainly recommend to others.
