Wonderful cultural and social events are scheduled throughout the year. The events range from wine tastes, artist festivals, and a writers' conference to a mega garage sale.

During the summer months on selected evenings there are free family movies shown outside, and on weekends local bands play for the vacationers on the Seaside village green. These are special - warm evenings by the sea relaxing on a blanket or chair, socializing with friends, and watching all the kids frolic while the band plays on.
